Choose the body material
Four Materials, One Coupling Standard
Every material below interchanges with any other camlock of the same type and size. Pick the body for the fluid and the environment, not for the fitting geometry.
Aluminium
A356 or ACD12 casting to MIL-C-24787. Light, corrosion resistant and the usual choice for water, air and dry bulk transfer. Supplied with R-pin safety pins.

Stainless Steel
SS316 investment casting to ASTM A351-CF8M, also available in 304. Heavy duty and general patterns, for chemical, food and marine transfer where corrosion resistance matters.

Brass
Brass casting to MIL-C-24787 with brass arms, plated steel pins and rings and an NBR gasket. Non-sparking. Resists most hydrocarbons, solvents, mild acids and agricultural chemicals.

Polypropylene
Glass-filled polypropylene to MIL-C-27487 / A-A-59326 dimensions. Electrically non-conductive and far lighter than metal, with high impact strength. Used in chemical and agricultural transfer.

Which Type Do You Need?
A camlock pairs a male adapter with a female coupler. The type letter tells you what is on the other end of the body.

Crimp style
Type C and E with a Machined Hose Tail
For hose assemblies that get built rather than clamped, we machine the hose shank from solid 316 investment cast stainless rather than welding it on.

Supplied with safety clips and a Buna-N gasket.
Crimps with F60 ferrules
Shank and ferrule from one supplier, so the crimp diameter is known.
Heat-number traceable
Made to a specific heat number so raw material traces back.

Will your camlocks mate with other brands?
Yes. Our aluminium, stainless and brass bodies follow MIL-C-24787 dimensions and the polypropylene follows MIL-C-27487 / A-A-59326, so they interchange with any camlock built to the same specification.
Which gasket do I get?
Buna-N (NBR) is standard. Tell us the fluid and we will quote the gasket to suit it.
Can you supply 304 as well as 316?
Yes. Our stainless range runs in both: series FISA to FISH in 316, FIS1A to FIS1H in 304.
Do you provide material certificates?
For the machined hose tail range we manufacture to a specific heat number and can issue EN 10204 3.1 certification. Ask when you enquire.
What is the minimum order?
We are a factory, so MOQ depends on material and size. Send your size and type breakdown and we will quote it directly.
Do you do OEM or private label?
Yes. We have supplied distributors under their own brand since 1976 — marking, packaging and carton printing to your specification.
