How do I read the part number?
Each part number carries the series, the hose code and the thread code. BHMC04H15T is a straight barbed connector for 1/2″ hose with a 1/2″ thread, cut PT.

The charts above show the PT references. For NPT, the thread-form letter changes from T to N — please confirm the exact part number with your enquiry.
What pressure are these rated for?
10 kgf/cm², which is about 142 psi or 9.8 bar. These are investment castings for hose and tubing service, not high-pressure fittings. If your line runs above that — the high-pressure side of a pressure washer, for example, runs far above it — these are the wrong part and we will say so. For threaded and socket-weld fittings rated 2000 lb (140 kgf/cm²) and 3000 lb (210 kgf/cm²) in SUS304 and SUS316L, ask us about the high pressure pipe fitting range instead.
Should I choose SUS304 or brass?
Choose by the fluid, not by price. Brass suits water, compressed air, oils and most fuels, and machines to a clean thread. SUS304 suits food, washdown, outdoor and marine-adjacent duty, and anything where the fitting is visible or has to look unchanged after a year.
Neither is a chlorine fitting. If the line carries sodium hypochlorite, pool chemicals or another chlorine donor, brass is attacked quickly and SUS304 pits over time. Tell us the chemical and the concentration before you order, and we will tell you honestly whether this series is right for it.
